— Frequently Asked
Answers for serious buyers.
How much does a metal building cost?+
Pricing depends on size, height, wind/snow loads, openings, insulation, and site conditions. As a rough range, simple shop or storage buildings start in the low- to mid-five figures and scale up from there. We provide a detailed, line-item written quote after a short site discussion — no surprises.
What welding codes do you follow for buildings and pipelines?+
For structural work we follow AWS D1.1 (steel), D1.3 (sheet steel), and D1.5 (bridges) where applicable. For pipeline and process work we work to API 1104 and ASME B31.3 / B31.8. Our Certified Welding Inspector reviews WPS/PQR documentation and performs visual inspection per the governing code.
Do you provide certified welding inspections?+
Yes. Our owner is a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with extensive experience inspecting buildings, pipelines, and oil & gas infrastructure. We provide third-party inspections, in-process inspections, and documentation packages.
How long does a project take?+
Small fabrication jobs can be a few days. Storage buildings and barns typically run 2–6 weeks once materials are on site. Larger commercial metal buildings vary based on design approval and permitting. We provide a schedule with each quote.
